This Privacy Policy explains how JINHUA KANGJIE MEDTECH CO., LTD. ("Kangjie", "we", "us" or "our") handles personal information through the Kangjie Medtech website and its general enquiry service. The website is intended principally for business-to-business enquiries concerning pharmaceutical products, active pharmaceutical ingredients, pharmaceutical intermediates and project-specific requirements.

Information you provide
When you contact us through the website, you may provide your company name, contact name, email address, phone or mobile number, country or region, enquiry message and an optional file attachment. The form currently accepts PDF, DOC, DOCX, XLS and XLSX files up to 5 MB. The fields are optional, but we need sufficient contact and enquiry information to respond meaningfully.
Please provide personal information relating to another person only when you are authorised to do so and the information is reasonably necessary for the enquiry.
Information generated when you use the website
Our website infrastructure may process technical information needed to deliver, protect and operate the website, such as request, security and performance information. We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics to obtain aggregate information such as Visits, Page Views and page paths. A Visit is an analytics measure and is not an exact count of unique natural persons. We do not use this information to track individual visitor journeys.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use relevant information to:
- receive, assess and respond to enquiries;
- discuss products, sourcing, supply coordination and project-specific requirements;
- communicate with you and follow up agreed next steps;

Optional attachments are stored in Drupal's private file storage with the related enquiry and are not attached to automated acknowledgement or notification emails. Attachments are reviewed separately and should not be kept longer than reasonably necessary for the enquiry, project and applicable legal or security needs.
This general enquiry form is not designed to collect patient information, medical records, identification documents or financial account information. Please do not submit identification documents, health or medical information, financial account information, or other unnecessary sensitive personal information through this general enquiry form.
If a particular matter genuinely requires sensitive personal information, Kangjie should first provide the specific notice and obtain any separate consent or complete any other procedure required by applicable law. The general form acknowledgement is not separate consent for sensitive personal information.
6. Cookies, Analytics and Website Technologies
We currently use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate website use and performance, including Visits, Page Views and page paths. The current public-page implementation does not use analytics cookies and no advertising or marketing tracking technologies have been identified on the website.
The website or its infrastructure may use strictly necessary technologies required for security, network delivery, language selection, administration or other core functions. This statement describes the current implementation and may be updated if the technologies used by the website change.
7. Data Retention and Security
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the relevant enquiry, active business relationship or project, and for applicable legal, accounting, dispute-resolution and security requirements. The retention period is determined by factors including the status of the enquiry or project, the date of the last meaningful business contact, the nature and sensitivity of the information, the continuing business or legal need, and the feasibility of deletion or anonymisation.
Enquiries are stored in Drupal and are not automatically deleted. A designated staff member conducts a manual quarterly review. Active enquiries and projects may be retained while genuinely needed; closed or inactive records and their attachments are reviewed for deletion under the internal retention approach. Attachments are assessed separately and should not be retained longer than reasonably necessary. Where deletion is not permitted or is technically difficult, processing may be restricted to storage and necessary protection as required by applicable law.
We use administrative and technical measures appropriate to the nature and scale of the information handled, including private file storage and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we do not guarantee absolute security.
8. International and Cross-border Handling
Kangjie conducts international business. Information may therefore be processed or accessed across jurisdictions when necessary for communications, website and email services, or a relevant customer, supplier, manufacturer or project relationship.
We do not state that all information remains in China or that all information is transferred overseas. Before a processing activity involving personal information is carried out across borders, Kangjie must determine the actual data flow and apply any notice, separate consent, personal information protection impact assessment, contract, certification, security assessment or other measure required by applicable PRC law. This Privacy Policy alone does not replace any such requirement.
9. Your Choices and Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, a copy of, correction or deletion of your personal information, or ask us to explain how it is handled. Where processing is based on consent, you may also withdraw that consent, without affecting processing already carried out lawfully.

Children, particularly those under 14, should not submit personal information through the website. If we learn that a child has submitted personal information, we will address it in accordance with applicable law.
